Following the 20th WCE in Anchorage in 2014, the 21st International Epidemiological Association (IEA), World Congress of Epidemiology (WCE2017) believes in providing opportunities to exchange information about the development of epidemiology in all fields and to strengthen the relationship among epidemiologists around the world. The main theme is “Global / Regional / Local Health and Epidemiology in a Changing World”, which is appropriate one for discussing the 3-year development of epidemiology from 2014 through 2017. This year's Congress welcomed more than 1,000 epidemiologists from about 60 countries as registered participants to the Congress. The 22nd World Congress of Epidemiology will take place in Melbourne in 2020.

Reduced Risk Products ("RRPs”) is the term we use to refer to products that present, are likely to present, or have the potential to present less risk of harm to smokers who switch to these products versus continuing smoking. PMI has a range of RRPs in various stages of development, scientific assessment and commercialization. Our RRPs are smoke-free products that produce an aerosol that contains far lower quantities of harmful and potentially harmful constituents than found in cigarette smoke.
