      ACT’s Annual Meeting provides an ideal venue for keeping abreast of emerging trends in the discipline of toxicology, for staying connected with friends and colleagues, and for making new connections. The ACT Council and their Program and Education committees continue to ensure development of Symposia, Workshops, and Continuing Education courses that are directly applicable to the daily practice of toxicology. ACT is also a society with an ideal size and culture providing consistent appeal to those who enjoy interacting personally with speakers, Council, and other colleagues in the field.

      Reduced Risk Products ("RRPs”) is the term we use to refer to products that present, are likely to present, or have the potential to present less risk of harm to smokers who switch to these products versus continuing smoking. PMI has a range of RRPs in various stages of development, scientific assessment and commercialization. Our RRPs are smoke-free products that produce an aerosol that contains far lower quantities of harmful and potentially harmful constituents than found in cigarette smoke.
