      Eleven working groups are currently active inside European Aerosol Assembly (EAA), covering a wide range of research interests: atmospheric aerosol processes, aerosol-based nanotechnology, combustion aerosol, electrical effects, instrumentation, PMx, indoor and working place aerosol, fundamentals, aerosol chemistry, aerosol modelling, and inhalation, exposures and health. EAA holds an annual European Aerosol Conference (EAC) with the participation of research groups from all over the world. Next EAC meeting will be EAC 2017, in Zurich. During the EAC 2017 the following special sessions will be organised: - Education, Careers, and Outreach in Aerosol Science. - Aerosols in Earth System Models - Electronic Cigarettes - Scientific Evidence - Targeted Generation and Delivery of Aerosolized Medicines -Electrohydrodynamic Atomization (EHDA) Technologies: from Fundamentals to Application.

      Reduced Risk Products ("RRPs”) is the term we use to refer to products that present, are likely to present, or have the potential to present less risk of harm to smokers who switch to these products versus continuing smoking. PMI has a range of RRPs in various stages of development, scientific assessment and commercialization. Our RRPs are smoke-free products that produce an aerosol that contains far lower quantities of harmful and potentially harmful constituents than found in cigarette smoke.
