Introduction to the Study

Philip Morris International is developing a number of potentially Reduced-Risk Products, these include the Tobacco Heating System (THS). The purpose of this Actual Use Study was to investigate how U.S. adult daily smokers of conventional cigarettes actually used THS.

The Actual Use Study was designed as a mid-term prospective observational study, implying an assessment of subject-reported stick-by-stick consumption of Tobacco Sticks and Conventional Cigarettes.
