      Davide is Reduced Risk Products Program Leader and has worked at PMI since 2012 in various roles, including preclinical toxicological evaluation. Italian by origin, he holds a PhD in Toxicology and Pharmacology, a degree in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Bologna, and a Post- doctorate in Cancer Research from the University of Lausanne.

      Davide joined PMI as a toxicologist and shortly afterwards led the preclinical and toxicological evaluation group providing scientific support for the development and assessment of PMI’s product portfolio. His current role involves leading the end-to-end delivery of the Life Sciences components of the e-vapor program and projects. Davide has 17 years of experience in toxicology and preclinical research and has published numerous articles in international scientific journals.

      Reduced Risk Products ("RRPs”) is the term we use to refer to products that present, are likely to present, or have the potential to present less risk of harm to smokers who switch to these products versus continuing smoking. PMI has a range of RRPs in various stages of development, scientific assessment and commercialization. All of our RRPs are smoke-free products that deliver nicotine with far lower quantities of harmful and potentially harmful constituents than found in cigarette smoke.
