      NC3Rs Workshop

      NC3Rs Workshop is an annual event, hosted by the National Centre for the Replacement, Refinement and Reduction of Animals in Research, that focuses on the application of exposure-driven approaches to support decision-making based on data from non-animal approaches across sectors, with topics ranging from exposure science in the context of non-animal testing to regulatory decision-making. The event is aimed at expert scientists from academia, government and regulatory agencies, and provides a forum for sharing knowledge and collaborating to identify gaps and challenge areas that need to be addressed to advance the application of exposure science capability.

      Reduced Risk Products ("RRPs”) is the term we use to refer to products that present, are likely to present, or have the potential to present less risk of harm to smokers who switch to these products versus continuing smoking. PMI has a range of RRPs in various stages of development, scientific assessment and commercialization. All of our RRPs are smoke-free products that deliver nicotine with far lower quantities of harmful and potentially harmful constituents than found in cigarette smoke.
