    World Congress for Bronchology & Interventional Pulmonology (WCBIP) is an biennial event focusing on bronchology and interventional pulmonology, with topics ranging from lung cancer to emerging technologies. The event is open to scientists, academics, researchers, healthcare professionals, regulators, and industry experts, and provides a forum for sharing and collaborating to improve the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary diseases.

    The theme of this Congress is “New Land, New Scope”. “New Land” implies that bronchology and interventional pulmonology is a new subfield of modern respiratory medicine, while “New Scope” means that new respiratory endoscopic techniques are being developed and that developing countries such as China are actively taking part in the field.
